Needless to say there are 3 main methods that people choose to use marijuana.

In this article, we are going to go over the pros and cons of each.

The most common way people use marijuana is no doubt by smoking it. There are many different devices you can use to smoke marijuana, like pipes and bongs.

Smoking is no doubt harmful for your lungs whether you smoke weed or tobacco.

So needless to say if you’re using marijuana medicinally, smoking should be the last method you choose.

However, on the other hand if your using marijuana recreationally. Smoking marijuana gives you the most instant high compared to eating or vaping it. In my opinion it is also a stronger high as well.

Pros:

Instant high, convenient, cheap

Cons:

Bad for your lungs

Vaporizing is becoming more and more popular among marijuana users. I would assume mostly because of its health benefits compared to smoking. When you vaporize marijuana, you are not releasing as many carcinogens from your marijuana as opposed to when you smoke it.

If you choose to vaporize, it is important to find a high quality vaporizer for weed. Pick a vaporizer that has proper temperature control settings, so that you can fine tune the temperature to your liking.

Vaporizing at the right temperature is very important. The reason being is you can receive different effects from the same strain of marijuana depending on what temperature you choose.

Low Temperature

Vaporizing at a low temperature is a great way to get the best flavour possible. Anywhere between 350-370°F is ideal if you’re looking for a flavourful vapor.

High Temperature

Vaporizing at a high temperature is a good way to get the instant high effects of marijuana. If you’re after a hard hitting stone, you should opt for temperatures between 375-450°F.

Just be sure to keep it under 455°F or else your marijuana will begin to combust.

Pros:

Better for your lungs, better flavour than smoking

Cons:

Vaporizers can be expensive
