We know many of the new “legal” drugs we see advertised on television include some pretty major side-effects. Anal Bleeding for example is apparently acceptable. Prescription drugs are now the number one killer in preventable deaths according to Sanjay Gupta (see video below from CNN).

“In the midst of a severe drug epidemic fueled by overprescribing of opioids, the very last thing the country needs is a new, dangerous, high-dose opioid,” the coalition wrote in a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg.

Medical Marijuana side effects are many times safer according to many Doctors. But one side-effect is often the absence of medical marijuana, especially for patients suffering from pain. If a patient’s legal supply of medical marijuana is interrupted many patients will often go to the black market rather than deal with the pain. Worse yet, some patients will simply buy alcohol.

Many more patients will just grab their old bottle of prescription pain killers until they can get more natural medicine. The future got a bit darker for these patients recently when the FDA approved a new pain killer, zohydro.

This drug will soon be on the black market where it will be sold alongside marijuana. Medical Marijuana patients treating their own debilitating pain may be among the easiest targets for drug dealers selling this new schedule 2 drug.

Watch the video and tell us if your concerned. Or maybe you feel like this is a good move for pain management?
