The 2013 International Drug Policy Reform Conference took place in Denver last week and was attended by a Michigan contingency. Three cities Ferndale, Jackson and Lansing have local marijuana decriminalization initiatives on the ballot for the upcoming election Tuesday, Nov. 5. And, Baby Bree is back home!

Joining us tonight will be Charmie Gholson, founder of Michigan Moms United who attended the International Drug Policy Conference last week in Colorado and who is this year’s recipient of Skunk Magazine’s “Michelle Rainey Award which was established in her honor to be given to the female activist who has distinguished herself during her career.”

Craig Covey, former Mayor of Ferndale and Oakland County Commissioner, is vying to be re re-elected as the Mayor of Ferndale. Craig will discuss his campaign and offer his prognosis on the decriminalization initiative that he supports and has significantly helped with.
