Come and join congressional candidate Dr. Kumar for a conversation about the current state of medical marijuana in our country, and what Dr. Kumar will do in Congress to fight for medical marijuana patients everywhere.

26 states have approved medical marijuana, and more are expected to do so. Dr. Kumar, a medical doctor, will be giving a presentation on medical marijuana. Other topics will include legalization/decriminalization and industrial hemp. There will be Q&A with the candidate afterward.

Sunday July 31st, 2016 FARMINGTON- Dr. Anil Kumar is hosting an intimate conversation to explore the medical efficacy of marijuana in treating a variety of conditions. This free event on July 31st is aimed at raising awareness of Marijuana’s life saving and life enhancing potential.  The Conversation with Dr. Kumar will feature a presentation by the candidate as well as testimony from multiple sclerosis patient Julie Kunze. Julie is a participant in Michigan’s medical marijuana program.

Dr. Kumar has made a long career of helping others, both as a urologist and also as a dedicated activist in his community. As an educator, Dr. Kumar values science based information and has devoted his career to the cutting edge of medicine. As congressman, Dr. Kumar vows to protect state’s rights, improve banking, encourage research and ensure access for veterans.

This will be the first of several discussions on the topic of medical marijuana.  Events in Troy and Canton are scheduled to take place in the upcoming week as well. The discussion will be held at 24155 Drake Rd. in Farmington, Michigan and will feature a Q&A afterward. Refreshments will be served.  Dr. Kumar hopes to host future events exploring other pertinent criminal justice issues such as marijuana legalization and civil asset forfeiture.
