The 2017 legislative session’s 60-day sprint is coming to a close and we are happy to report that five of the measures that we have been tracking and weighing in on are still ALIVE!  We have entered into the “conference” portion of the legislative cycle; wherein, bills are conferred upon by select members, or conferees, from both legislative chambers. Conferees from each house directly engage with one another from opposite sides of the table to discuss the points upon which they agree and disagree for each bill. If consensus is reached on a bill it will later be presented to the Governor for signature or veto.
The following bills have been scheduled for a conference hearing at the listed times and locations.
