PHOENIX, Ariz., (August 18, 2016) – The election stakes are high this November and the public has a right to make an informed decision about cannabis before voting, so says a national cannabis event producer who staging a large-scale Arizona Cannabis Conference & Expo to the Phoenix Convention Center, Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16.

The timely two-day conference is presented by Let’s Educate A FutureTM, Vapen Clear and New Times Phoenix, and provides the public with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with world-renowned cannabis experts and industry leaders.

Healthcare, law, politics, pro sports, investment opportunities, business and consumer trends, entrepreneurs and startups are among the many national cannabis industry hot topics that will be covered at the expo. Along with expert panel discussions more than 300 businesses, non-profit organizations and budding entrepreneurs will exhibit their services and wares in the sprawling downtown exhibit hall.

Organizers say the Arizona expo is expected to draw nearly 10,000 attendees from across Arizona and the nation to learn about the fast-growing industry.

“We have created national demand for our shows because they uniquely merge business, education and entertainment. They allow participants to reach medical patients, mainstream consumers, and business-to-business professionals. Attendees can learn directly from industry leading doctors, scientists, attorneys, finance experts and even their favorite former NFL gridiron heroes,” expo CEO Rory Mendoza said. Organizers are bringing the event to Phoenix after successful stints in Ft. Worth, Texas, San Diego California, and the SXSW Music Festival in Austin Texas.

“In Arizona and many states across the nation, voters will an opportunity to choose to end prohibition and begin proper and just regulation of cannabis in their communities. Let’s do this, Arizona. Let’s do this, America,” said Mendoza.

The national market for cannabis companies is expect to exceed $67 billion dollars in sales in 2016, according to the ArcView Group, a leading cannabis industry analyst.

Nearly half of voters across the country will decide this November on laws that affect the regulation and sales of medical or recreational cannabis in their state. In Arizona, voters will decide on Prop 205 ending of prohibition and allowing for the regulation of marijuana like alcohol.
