The second annual Hawaii Cannabis Expo will begin on February 10 at 5 p.m. The first day’s events will close at 8 p.m. The event lasts through February 12. Attendees will obtain information about the medical marijuana program and on obtaining certifications.

The expo is designed to educate the public regarding medical marijuana in Hawaii, according to Star Advertiser. Patient advocates and wellness experts will be on-hand offering seminars and will answer questions. Danny Danko, Dru West and Ed Rosenthal are expected to make appearances.

The second day of the expo begins at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. The final day of the expo, February 12, opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. One of the main sponsors of the expo is Rich Extracts.

Instructor Kirk Reid, certified via Oaksterdam University, is leading a workshop to teach attendees how to make marijuana edibles. Senator Will Espero and Representative Della Au Belatti are also hosting updates to legislation on February 11.

Those interested in working in Hawaii’s medical marijuana industry can attend a job training course on both February 11 and 12. There are registration and other fees associated with the job training courses. General admission, however, is just $5 on February 10. Admission increases to $15 for February 11 and 12.
